Delta R

NightFighter Delta R provides an ultra portable drone detection and identification capability as part of a fully integrated Detect/Identify /Track/Neutralise (DITN) counter-UAV solution.

Weighing just 375g and offering up to 8 hours operation on internal batteries (DC power also supported), the handheld detector is ideal for dismounted operations.

DETECTS AND DISPLAYS DRONE INFORMATION

NightFighter Delta R interprets RF comms, including the UAV’s unique Remote ID (RID) beacon, as well as other signals between the drone and its operator.

Key information including drone type and ID, altitude, speed and operating frequency is displayed on the handheld unit’s integrated colour screen.

Powerful Machine Learning algorithms continuously aggregate information acquired by other connected NightFighter Delta R systems in the vicinity.

SAFE, STEALTHY OPERATION

NightFighter Delta R is an intrinsically stealthy drone detection, identification and tracking solution. As a passive detection device, it is invisible to other RF detection systems in the field.

Certified for licence-exempt operation, NightFighter Delta R presents no RF or radhaz risks to operators, other personnel or surrounding infrastructure.

DEEP INTEGRATION

NightFighter Delta R can be connected to a smartphone or tablet device (Android or Windows OS) running SecondSight, SteelRock’s networked situational awareness app that offers a real-time graphical map view of UAV threats in the vicinity.

The network-enabled unit can be readily integrated with the US
Army’s Nett Warrior dismounted leader situational awareness system, augmenting Nett Warrior’s intelligence sharing and battlefield decision-making capabilities with rich semantic information on drone threats.
